Gewürztraminer
Our Gewürztraminer is crafted from Washington grapes. We often put the juice and the grape skins in contact to extract and unleash the exquisite Gewürztraminer aromas locked in the skin. The juice is then cold temperature fermented over 20 days. We do not use any oak and do not put the wine through malolactic fermentation.
The wine is crisp with a slight residual sugar of 1.7% with flavors of lychee, melon and tangerine. Our Gewürztraminer is an exceptional match with spicy Indian food, lemon chicken and blue cheeses.

91 Points BEST BUY! A burst of lychee and pear, aromatic, perfumed with rose petals, lush and forward. The alcohol is 12%, the residual sugar is 1.7%; with plenty of acid under it. The mix of flower and fruit is perfect, substantial, and beautifully balanced. — P.G. — Wine Enthusiast November 1, 2009

88 Points BEST BUY! This unusual blend of grapes from both Washington and Oregon shows that each state can profit from the other. The Oregon grapes give more structure, acid, and delicate spice notes; while the baseline Washington fruit — melon and passion fruit — is bright and tangy and annotated with citrus andtangerine. — P.G. 87 Points! Soft and inviting, with nice spice and floral character adding interest to the pear and lychee flavors, lingering on the off-dry finish. Drink now. 4,000 cases made. — H — Wine Spectator
2006 Vintage
87 Points! Pale orange-tinged yellow. Subtle hints of flower and nutmeg on the clean nose. Juicy and spicy in the mouth, with lively acidity keeping the wine fresh and buffering its hint of residual sugar. Nicely balanced gewurtztraminer.

89 Points! The wine, though true to variety, is approachable and soft, not oily. Round and fruity, with 1.7% residual sugar, this lush, forward style will meld comfortabley with Asian fare. — Wine Enthusiast, July 2008
